Revenue Cloud & CPQ FAQ

Can you improve our existing Salesforce CPQ setup?

Yes. We review how your team prepares quotes and identify what needs attention. A focused improvement may be enough. If you’re considering a different platform, we assess that separately.

Can you fix quotes that take too long to calculate?

Yes. We trace slow calculations to the underlying configuration or code. Then we test changes against representative quotes to improve performance while preserving the pricing your business relies on.

Can we support subscriptions, usage-based pricing, and one-time charges?

We help design quoting for those pricing models. What is possible depends on your Salesforce products and billing system. For usage-based pricing, we confirm how usage will be measured and billed as well as how it appears on the quote.

Can you make discounts and unusual terms easier to approve?

Yes. We agree on which exceptions need review and who should approve them. We configure the rules so reviewers receive the quote details needed for a decision.

Can you help with contract changes and renewals?

Yes. We configure changes around the terms of the existing agreement. That can include matching added subscriptions to the current end date or preparing renewals before expiry. The exact behavior depends on your Salesforce product and commercial policies.

Can you connect Salesforce to our ERP or billing platform?

Yes. We agree on which system owns each record and how approved quote details move between them. We also define how failed transfers are handled. Any work on invoicing, fulfillment, or revenue recognition is defined in the agreed scope.

Is moving from Salesforce CPQ to Revenue Cloud a simple upgrade?

No. Moving to the newer Revenue Cloud platform should be planned as a separate implementation because it uses a different architecture from Salesforce CPQ. We assess what your business needs and which parts of your current setup need to change before recommending a migration.

Can you help us move from CPQ to Revenue Cloud?

Yes. We define the migration around your quoting process and the capabilities you need. The plan accounts for open quotes and existing customer agreements so you know what needs to be carried forward.

Is quoting slowing your team down?

Tested against real quote scenarios.
